If Darfur had oil, we'd already be there.

Darfur DOES have oil Whiffle.. That's why the "Arab" government wants to kick out its current occupants so that they can claim all of it for themselves. And before you had opted to make such a silly claim, all you would have had to do is "google" Darfur + oil to find that out.

And if you hadn't bother to notice, the Chinese have been in Sudan for years now, and account for some 30% of all of Sudan's oil export sales.

A lot of money will be made selling oil from Sudan, and none of the current dominant "players" in Sudan want the people of that region to get any of it.
