It's more than a bit ironic that the same people who deny scientific findings about the age and condition of the earth spend almost every waking moment using or listening to devices created by technology, i.e. science.

The scientific method only applies until it intrudes on unshakable theological assumptions, I suppose.

I'm sure the Americans to whom you refer, whose number includes our president, incredibly, have a hard time figuring out why scientists would spend so much time with silly things like "evidence" and "testing hypotheses" when all the answers to the big questions were written in a book thousands of years ago.

Those wacky scientists.
