What I was struck by was the fact that I had never heard this use of children as human shields reported on ABC News. Sarcasm, or genuine surprise? I'm certainly not surprised.. It doesn't fit the "plan" of avoiding reporting anything that might provoke sentiment amongst Americans to remain in Iraq. The goal of the MSM, in my opinion, is to create the belief that the Iraqis are not worth our blood and treasure. But any photos, or reporting, of children being used as human shields could potentially ellicit the same kind of popular outrage that Americans showed when he was hiding behind Western children back in 1990. I admit it.. I'm a sucker for trying to defend children around the world. I know most Americans know we can only save so many from the abuses that are heaped upon children around the world, but when the media puts their faces on the news, it always strikes a resounding chord. That's why we normally have the MSM bringing attention to photos where Americans might be involved in accidental deaths, or injuries to a child. They could simply care less when it involves someone else (the Jihadists) directly targeting children in schools in an attempt to deprive them of an education (and future). Hawk
