Wayne, You are not saying you think it's a waste of time to do the accounting are you? Yes, if the accounting is equivalent to adding the number of insects to the population of the country. The mandated SS tax and payout rates for 2042, however changed between now and then, stand on their own, and cannot be usefully combined with any other financial item. For a government that can costlessly create its own money, and an economy whose only merit is the creation and consumption of consumption goods, prefunding of future possible liabilities is meaningless.
