I remember one of the arguments DAK and others gave for the bear case was that inflation was bad for the market, which it is, if real interest rates go up.

If you have B/S numbers though and the "official" interest rate is low, along with loan rates, then inflation is not bad for the market. Quite the reverse.

The flood of dollars along with unofficial high inflation and ... bingo... you get DOW 36K.

Get your calls on.

Which is one of the reasons I think even manipulated markets like gold and the dirts, relatively speaking, are still a safe bet.
