Kenneth, according to the anti-war movement, this all Bush's fault. Are you telling me that politicians who despised Bush went along with him because they were intimidated? I can't agree with you. A professional politician, so soon after saying Bush stole the election, is going to be worried enough about his image by going against Bush that he felt threatened enough to lose votes? Hardly. I think the dems wanted this just as much as the country. Times change and memories dim, but to say they bowed to peer pressure from a man they despised is a stretch

No excuses for their decision to authorize Iraq...a democrat vote was no different than a republican vote. They supported military action against Iraq.
