"Again.. read my post regarding "Azzam the American".. He might be Salafist/Deobandist in his flavor of Islam, but his words aren't much different from the Shi'a militants like Ahmadinejad."

We either have to get iran to change from this thinking or get them to fight al quaeda. Forgetting amhadijad for a moment iran is nowhere near as fanatical as al quaeda and their taliban regimes.

Hawk, when Japan was murdering their way across Asia in an empire building expedition, they were receptive to the idea of two nuclear bombs: <How to do it in such a way that the hardline Iranian government folks will be RECEPTIVE is the problem. >

I think the hard-line Iranians would be receptive to the same way of thinking. They are planning on using that same sort of thinking on other people, hence their construction of nuclear power stations in a country absolutely swimming in hydrocarbons which is perfectly good for power stations and which they are planning on selling via a hugely expensive pipeline to India.

Unfortunately, like other megalomaniacs, they don't seem to be able to understand any other sort of "thinking".
