“In all our FDA history, we are unable to find a single instance where a Congressional committee investigated the failure of FDA to approve a new drug.”

The FDA has a history of demanding that people die to prove the efficacy of drugs. A death sentence is a control for one who benefits from the treatment. When they demand that drug companies do double blind studies to prove things that are in medical text books it proves that they are just fearful small minded bureaucrats.
