"he only thing I'll say to this is that a sweeping statement like that is an insult to many great thinkers who also had great faith. You're distorting my comment......many great thinkers believe in a god, but there are no great thinkers who do not accept evolution in place of special creation. Answer this one please...do you really believe that "God" actually looks over the planet Earth and even the nitty gritty detail of an individual humans life events? Do you believe he has a timetable for all of us. There are TRILLIONS OF GALAXIES, STARS, AND PLANETS.....you really think we are special.....if so, that is arrogance of the utmost. Do you think humans of the last 2000 years or so are "special" and your God doesn't care about lesser forms of life and instill them with a "soul"??
