Yes...my dad's great great whatever did come here speaking english...but many didn't. I don't care if they speak english upon getting here but I think they should try to learn the language. English is and should be the official language of our country. We have no reason to apologize or feel guilty for that. If people are so all fired up to come to our country then shouldn't they embrace the culture too? I think they should! People shouldn't come to our country and expect us to change to adjust to them - screw that! Do you have any idea the amount of money thats wasted to provide services in multiple languages?
