That's quite a moral test you self apply. So it's not simply our safety that might generate a nuclear response, there's our economic well being to protect.

I'm sure the world feels quite comfortable with that rule, and with our ability to interpret it, or reinterpret it. (Since I'm actually posting to you, Jlallen, I should point out that I'm being sarcastic here.)

What we lost by our actions in Iraq cannot be measured just in dollars and blood. We've lost the trust of the world to allow one superpower to continue to exist. We better get it back through dramatic actions or we'll see another arms race. And we may not win the next one. Ed
