Plame wasnt covert for more years than the law stated so there was no violation. They nailed Libby because he like to the Grand Jury. It may be a still sentence for a lie that had nothing to do with the case, but it was still a lie. Nixon should pardon him. I cant say pardon without thinking of Nixon.

The issue is clear -- a covert CIA agent puts their life at risk -- and the value of a covert CIA agent as a national security asset is lost when their identity is revealed. The lives of many others are also put at risk. This was a valid grand jury investigation into the persons responsible for harming national security at the White House. By lying and obstructing this investigation, Libby received and deserves to go to jail.
