"I don't think honesty is always the best policy. Try telling people what you REALLY think of them 24/7." I do think honesty is always the best policy but I also think keeping my mouth shut is usually the best policy with regards to what I think of other people. When standing up and speaking up could be effective at resolving an injustice I speak. When my voice may guide someone who is considering a bad decision, uneducated, or unsure about their own judgement, I can be expected to venture an opinion. When debating topics, I am all tongue and a smidgeon of ear. Otherwise, anyone who wants to go to hell has my permission to do it without hearing from me.
