If they wait for the people to demand a reaction, it is likely to be through nationalist or neo-fascist movements. Yes. That is what I fear. .Instead we have a hysterical concentration on the problem of global warming, which won't happen for fifty years - if it happens at all (you can color me skeptical) Predictably we differ there. The problem is that global warming has a very large integral term, which is a problem. Future generations are going to look at this leadership like historians today look at the Rennaissance Popes, I'm convinced of it. An amazing exercise in folly. I agree, but I'd say mostly for environmental reasons, not politics. PS, I have to go do some more productive things. Later...
