I have never suggested that we should abandon Israel -- my view has been and is that our support for Israel should not be unconditional. We have the right to expect Israel to adhere to basic standards of human decency so long as we are arming them and financing them. And we should insist that they seek peace. Neither of these elements of an Israeli policy is in any way extreme or radical. On the contrary, Nadine's position is extreme. You now seem inclined to go to a similar extreme.
