No, its not a perfect analogy in that sense.

Steven Stills and others represented a movement of anti-establishment peace, love, and hope alternatives; where as, drug cartels represented something closer to what you are refering to.

Back to the current 'movement', if we can call it that. An idealized movement where a peaceable and benevelent Caliphate government is imagined to be established as an outcome, and is represented by fairly kind hearted Emams preaching to the masses. While the Terrorists are out disrupting social order, and challenging the authority of the west in brutal and heinous ways.

could someone point me to the post where a claim is made that it is the Israel's fault that Hamas and Fatah are battling/killing each other?
