The ignorant masses must be kept in its tiptoes at all times: Bible fit that perfectly, then nuclear Armageddon. Now we need novel ways to keep them afraid: End of oil. Global warming, and man-made catastrophes, asteroid hitting the earth... You name it. Then governments come to the ignorant populaces and tell them: here is how much of your taxes are going to be used to allay your fears... And the Ignorant masses go to bed and sleep knowing they are 'safe' and next morning they discover the money is coming form their pockets to 'solve' a 'problem' that was artificially created. It doesn't fail... Now here comes tainted food, e.colli bacteria... And Elmat seats here and just laugh about nuclear bombs, and global warming, environment end of oil...
