M - I have to tell you, the last few days I've been so stiff and sore from being totally idle, I rolled out of the house at 0630 this morning for a 30 minute brisk walk. It was beautiful out there, just 56 degrees and the sweet smell of early morning. I promised myself to do this 4 or 5 times a week, so long as weather permits. It gets so beastly hot I'll have to continue early in the morning. Best time of day.

Still thinking I'll ride my bike in the basement if it rains and I can't get out.

Yes, he did apply at Lowe's and Home Depot. The minimum age for both places is 18, he just turned 16. I told him I felt it was a liability issue for them hiring someone so young.

He has a friend that went to work in a convenience store. That store was robbed while he was there. No one was hurt, thank God. I told my son, there was no way in hell he'd be allowed to work in a convenience store. Those are the first target for robbers, that and fast food places late at night.
