The Liberals are to blame because they invented the VA. Republicans told the Army to charge and kill veterans in The Bonus March when they ran things. MacArthur gave the order and Major Patton attacked the vets.

As an interesting aside to this, one of the best treatments for PTSD has not been sanctioned by the APA. It is EMDR. I suspect its because Its not strictly in the realm of psychiatrists but of course I could be wrong. Now the question will be will treatment of EMDR for PTSD be reimbursable.
