The things like the Thai jihad and the plight of Christians in Gaza are stories that will get little attention and I think thats a shame. People get the impression violence in places like the ME is driven by reaction to some greivances that Muslims have against the west. These stories (which receive too little attn) show that there is much more going on - that the root of the violence may lie within Muslim society itself - totally independent of the west.

So, the American/Israeli puppet (Abbas) sent his thugs into Gaza to knock down the elected gov't and dissolved the elected gov't in the West Bank. Now this attempted coup d'etat in Palestine has failed and might massively backfire by leading to Abbas' downfall.
