"For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Remember the Nephilim in the old testament. An event that precipitated the flood. Supernatural influences are dismissed as "dark ages folly" by the intellectual of the civilized world. It is beyond comprehension to me that even non-believers who honestly look at the prophesies concerning Israel and the reality of the literal fulfillment before our very eyes can intellectually be dismissed. Not since the destruction of Israel in 70 A.D. has the events foretold been possible. Concerning the Nephilim in Genesis chapter 6: The (C)Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown. 5Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great on the earth, and that (D)every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6(E)The LORD was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and He was (F)grieved in His heart. For anyone interested, a man whom I met before he passed away many years ago, wrote a book called "The Last Word on the Middle East". It was later renamed "Promise Land". It was written by Derek Prince, Cambridge graduate and a true intellectual in every sense of the word. He lived 6 months in Fort Lauderdale and six months in Jerusalem for many years. He was in Jerusalem during the six day war and even back in the 60's was warning of Radical Islam. For any who really want to know what the scriptures honesty state concerning Israel and their regathering from the great diaspora .... order this book. I believe "Promise Land" is still in print.
