Neal,
I completely agree with you.

People on RB that claim that HB didn't do anything good because the share prices right now is the same as when he came is just ridiculous. They have no idea about how the stock market works.
As for the HB's salary. Yes, it is kind of high. But what if he is major league CEO and will make Simtek a major league company? It doesn't really matter if the company is profitable or not right now. If he can find another employment somewhere for $1 mln a year, why should he be paid less at Simtek? I am sure the engineers and programmers at Simtek are paid not worse than they would be paid in highly successful company. And nobody in his right mind would require to cut their pay because the company they work for is not making money. They will just quit and find another job which pays what they consider they should be paid. So why the CEO is different?
I would understand the resentment if CEO is making a lot of money and the company is not going anywhere. But in our case the company is clearly making progress. And I attribute this success to HB. If not for him Simtek would still be competing with ZMD with no prospects in sight.

As for the stock price. I don't know. The overall market situation is not very good for small companies. I monitor hundreds of stocks and when more than 50% of the small cap stocks are in red when Dow is up 150 points tells me the market is not healthy. There is no volume on many stocks and Simtek is no different. But that is how the market works. If the company is making progress but its stock is languishing it might take a couple of weeks of a good market for the stock to catch up. So I am just waiting for q2 CC to see if Simtek is making any progress.
