Dubai? Shining emerald in the middle east?

Btw, Dubai is not an Islamic country.

Been to Dubai? No, and I haven't been to Wellington lately either, but I still vote. I haven't been nearly everywhere recently, but knowledge doesn't require an actual visit to places.

Islamic arts, films, fiction? No. Self-indulgent fantasy. I have seen some Danish cartoons about Moslems being violent which were very good. I read about a real-life art installation on Van Gogh in Nederlands which was very realistic and effective in communicating their ideals. The knife to the chest with the message was artful.

Seem any of the great Islamic films?

I'll bite. I don't think I've ever seen any "Islamic" film, much less a "great" one. Go ahead, name me the ten best Islamic films, and I'll watch a few and get back to you.
