That was Mac putting Ike down. Sour grapes. Ike ended up Prez, and he didn't.

Yeah, I should have said that tongue in cheek. McArthur had an ego to match his accomplishments. Ike was more mild-mannered, and it probably torqued McArthur off that Ike got to be President and he didn't.

I'm glad we had both generals on our side.
