What nonsense again. People in Saddam's neighborhood--the ones who, if your scenario were actually the "most likely outcome," would have had the most to fear from him--were opposed to this war because they feared that it could not be contained, that it would lead to exactly what it has lead to--a power vacuum leading a civil war, an eruption of Sunni-Shia conflict and violence, a refugee crisis, and an increase in the power of Iran. Did it all happen exactly as anyone predicted? No. But that is the way with both war and the stock market. It never happens exactly as predicted. But one can guage probabilities, and, when going to war, it is essential to build in overkill. This didn't happen with this cocky administration.

I've got to go. I have no idea how you have so much time on your hands to post as much as you do.
