North Koreans only religous fervor is for the dear leader. The islamist thing doesnt exist here. Dear leader cant stay in power without adopting the chinese model. Perhaps he is now where mao was when nixon went to china. Perhaps there is a Teng or a Chou en Lai in his government who have been directed to make the chinese model work for them. The nukes will be there for awhile longer i suspect and the korean people will suffer as well but there are no better choices. The same rejectionism (palestinian) that nadine and peter correctly blame for middle east peace failures is exactly what they are proposing become our policy to NK.

North Korea has a history of selling whatever they can sell with no ethical restraint. If you believe they would make an exception for fissile material / nuclear bombs then you are correct that we will have to agree to disagree.

I am glad we can do it amicably. What a difference between this subject and the formerly interesting subject this sprang from.

I believe peace with N Korea is work-in-progress, without blood being shed.. You apparently dont.

What do you mean, without blood being shed? Doesn't North Korean blood count?
