Well, corporate interests championed mostly by republicans want the cheap labor and democrats who champion mostly minorities don’t want to send them home and as usual average Americans are being burned in the process. It doesn’t help to be persistent if you are overrun before you accomplish your goal and time is running out.

We'll likely to get a whole bunch more Democrats in 2008. They won't enforce the laws either. Maybe even make it easier. By 2014 there may well be double the illegals in the country. 24-30 million.
