re: I didn't challenge their asserted facts, I placed them in to context. If they say disease X is 25% more common and disease Y is 250% more common they are probably right, but I pointed out how they ignored many sorts of other diseases, and other health concerns. Their facts may well be in order, but their facts don't support the headline.

Sure they do; they were talking about since the 80's. Things like Polio were cured before the 80's.

re: Obesity is primarily due to the decisions and actions of individuals as they live their lives. It isn't created by any medical system.

But the health system can help prevent it.
