I haven't seen Sicko so I can't comment on it. As for Cuba......apparently, the US and Cuba rank pretty close when it comes to health care and longevity of life. Having said that, I am not looking to Cuba for the solution to the American health care crisis........and yes, it is a crisis. Every year for the past 7 years, the premium has gone up on my health plan inspite of the fact I have never filed a claim. If everything else is fine, this is still a significant problem. And the truth is everything is not fine. From everything I have heard and read, on average, gov'ts do a better job of providing health care coverage for their citizens than private industry.
