Wayne, actually, most media is owned by right wing nut jobs and slants toward the right. MSNBC is the only balanced reporting that I've seen. On their nighttime lineup, Joe Scarbourough, former "Contract With America" right wing Congressman and Tucker Carlson, right wing pundit, are bookends for the sometimes excellent Keith Olberman Show. Chris Matthews is also in there, but he doesn't have a slant. It's almighty ratings and say or do anything to get them for Chris. He's just as happy with that senile old Senator challenging him to a duel and Ann Coulter calling the 911 Widows whores as he is with Michael Moore exposing our mess of a health care system.

Fox's ratings come nowhere near the "struggling" network news shows, which are awful. ABC seems the most balanced, despite having an owner that once wouldn't hire blacks or latinos and wouldn't allow male employees to have moustaches.

Do you think the American media's coverage of Chavez slants to the left?
