I feel greatly relieved it takes 4 years, instead of 1, for the world population to increase by the current population of North America.
Most of that increase will occur in countries now importing jobs from the USA. With new jobs they'll need new cars, as many as we now have, every 4 years.

Thanks for the fact checking. I posted those things in order to find out if what I had read was true.

It is still not good to have tens of millions more mouths to feed every year and decreasing supplies of food in storage. Coincidental crop failure in the northern and southern hemispheres, plus any disruption of worldwide distribution systems, plus any deliberate political interference, could mean a lot more Darfurs around the world.

And since crop fertilizer is now largely a product of natural gas, energy shortages would magnify the problem.

Most excellent correction of a blatant distortion of fact.

The worlds population is only increasing at a rate of around 75,000,000 per year.

That certainly invalidates the crux of the argument that the US government is preoccupied with obscene irrelevancies.....
