Still laughing about your description of the Pecan Pie attack....I've only had a few bites over my lifetime...never had the guts to have a whole piece...I'd eat it <gg>

And BIL has a clean bill of health for both heart and cholesterol, lucky guy...he's in his mid 70's...

Whiskey Pecan Pie Recipe

This pecan pie recipe was shared by DocDonald.

INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups unsulphured blackstrap molasses
2 tablespoons Jack Daniel's Whiskey 2 tablespoons Bourbon
4 large eggs, beaten
2 tablespoons flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 tablespoon melted butter
1 cup chopped pecans
1 pie crust, prepared, 9- to 10-inch
PREPARATION:
Beat all ingredients well, except pecans. Stir in pecans, pour into a pie crust and bake 40 to 45-mins. at 350°.
