Without a doubt, much of what is blamed on global warming has absolutely nothing to do with global warming. It becomes just too easy to "just blame it on global warming". That fact though should never cause us to stop thinking and studying the issue. That in my mind is foolish. Besides, if you approach global warming from my point of view, it is a win for us and for society whether it exist or does not.

I do think there is something to it though. When the wind blows from the east, I can no longer see the mountains as the air pollution is so bad from Seattle that it obscures the mountains. Since it didn't use to be that way and since that pollution is most definately man made, I think it would be foolish to accept it without question. ......We have all done the science of growing bacteria colonies and watched them flourish until the growth was just to much and that the waste from the bacteria growth killed off the colony. It is hubris for us to think that human growth can be unlimited without causing some negative impact on a world that is limited.
