Oliver Stone made PLATOON, probably the greatest film ever made about war. SCARFACE was his next best. He wrote that. His film on the JFK assassination was also brilliant. But gays hated him for it, as did rightwingers who have been busy ever since lying to try and pretend they had nothing to do with the killings of the Kennedys and Martin Luther King. It was all those lone nuts fault. Yeah right. Anyway, Stone is not afraid of difficult material. And it would be interesting to track the genesis of Iranian extremism, and see how GW Bush threw gasoline on its fire and drove the moderates from power in 2002. Oliver Stone has been vindicated by the massive corruption of and wrongdoing of Bush-Cheney who make Nixon-Agnew look positively honest and forthcoming. Next what we need is a film about how criminal traitors Bush-Cheney-Rove stole not just one but two elections. And why did they go to such great lengths to defraud the American Democracy? To carry on with their insane war, the worst and most costly debacle in US history. Who needs enemies when you have Bush-cheney-Rove, all three should be tried, convicted and sentenced to the paximum criminal penalty allowed. They richly deserve it. And anyone who supported them also deserves a badge of shame for life.
