Michael,i dont know what to say ........ frankly i feel that is so much hate fear and resentment buit up as to make a general blood letting un avoidable . You idea of letting them slug it out between them selves would be fine with me ...but there is the oil to consider. re UK terror.That doctors are involve is perhaps the most worrying aspect. Understanding why ,without blaming it all on the innate evil of islam,is extremely important. I would suggest for a start that western consumeristic culture disgusts many of the 3rd world poor.....even in the best of times. and that perhaps having seen the victims of war and poverty in their own country, are revolted ...in the most extreme way.... by what the see and treat as doctors in a society whos members general bad health is largely a result of over consumtion of food ,alcahol and drugs.

Fire consumes itelf. Let al quaeda and the baathists with arab support fight al sadr and the militias with iranian support. Let them focus on each other and remove the US from the fray. Its not a question of wishing anything bad on iraqis. They have made their own bed. You cant blame everything on bush. Excellent points. The US should remove itself from involvement with the Sunni-Shia conflict in Iraq and remove itself from the conflict with Jew-nonJew in Palestine. Let them all consume each other, and then we'll establish relations with the winner.
