I think we are very terribly divided in this country, and if we aren't getting what we want, we are getting what we deserve. And I have run out of answers on how to resolve the problem. I think the answer is compromise (precious little in government/politics today)- and then move on to another issue. These divisions exist because half the people feel one way and the others another. Abortion is a clear example - we as nation beat this issue every four years and never really call it done - what a waste of time and money. Both the left and right take stupid positions, it's not a human until birth is flat out insane and saying it's a human at birth is equally insane. Pick a date like five/six months and call it done.
