My doctor told me quite a few years ago that the woman who runs his transcribing service makes a lot more money than he does, and he is a much-in-demand specialist. He also said she's not great, but she was the best he could find. So, he always gave the hard copy a once over.

I used to wonder how disastrous it would be to get the terms "hypo" and "hyper" confused, for instance. I prefer not to think about it.
