That is very close to my position: "I agree that the heinous conduct of religious people should be open for discussion; which does not justify any general attacks on the underlying theology endorsed by people not conducting themselves in such a manner." I would say that to the extent that people follow a theology that proscribes policy which is a threat to other nations and nationals then it is fair game. That being written, if one were to review my writings that type of discourse is rare if present at all. It however is an important principle.
