My experience with doctors from other countries is that they often speak better English than natural born citizens. "Third world" doctors are all over the US as well as the UK. I think it would be advisable to go to a doctor who was 1. good at what he or she does and 2. speaks decent English- but I'm not sure that it matters where they come from.

But none of this speaks to your statement that UK health care was "destroyed". Have you ever used UK health care? Do you know much about their companies? It's not been destroyed. And since the UK has had NHS since 1948, it doesn't look likely to be destroyed any time soon.

"After government health care destroys the US health care industry like socialized medicine did in Great Britain"

and was the "yes"- that you've had "experience" with UK health care? If so, what was your experience?

Foreign doctors in the U.S.

Number of physicians in the US: 794,893

Number of foreign graduate physicians in the US: 185,234 (from 127 countries)

Percentage of foreign physicians in US training programs: 24%

This is not a new phenomenon. Foreign physicians have made up this percentage of the US physician population for decades.

Private clinics that charge people money are popping up in England.

A private health care system that runs in parallel with the NHS isn't anything new.

Lots of indian doctors in england ...their english and manners are better than that of most of the english.
PS its easy to knock national health insurance if you have private coverage paid by your employer....try it when you are earning 24000 a year and have to pay for insurance for a family of 4 .

Botom line ...people are too quick to condem that of which the have no experience.

re: immigrant doctors in england....

"Would you rather be treated by someone with whom there is little risk of miscommunication?

frankly i'd be more concerned about those doctors deciding to blow up and maim "potential patients"
