Just one more thought. Remember the "babies pulled from incubators" story that was circulated to sell Desert Storm? Turned out the source for the story was a the daughter of a Kuwaiti ambassador who had "heard it from a friend."

I'm disappointed in Yon.

It's possible that Yon was fooled. But he has been very accurate up to now. He must have felt the story was true.

I'm disappointed in Yon. If it really did happen and was verified, I'd want to know about it, but I resent being subjected to images passed along from some propagandist's fever-dream. (That's a criticism of Yon, not of anyone else.)

Michael Yon was a fully trained US Army Special Forces Operator with combat experience and a Top Secret+ Clearance.

Prior to your unsubstantiated comment, I have never heard one suggestion that his dispatches are embellished in any way. Not one. If I ever do I'll point it out and quit posting comments from or about him.
