"Yes were helping it along now but clearly those believing were the cause of global warming are fools"

does it matter?
if we address global warming with the intent of 'new' efficiencies, what would be the economic problem? we will have new economies, certainly much more robust in redirecting scarce resources.
actually, the only problem I see, would be retrenchment of established monies...
sort of like replacing the Detroit's rust bucket SUV mindset with 60 miles per gallon turbo- diesel automobiles.
or, combat ADM's politically effective argument of US energy independence, as it will only lead to increase use of fossil fuel fertilizers & pesticides (also, depleted potable water & depleted topsoils) & a much higher price of corn flakes*
(*cane sugar, of which ADM is sucking air, is the solution). see ADM's unease with Brazilian sugar company, Cosan yahoo.reuters.com
don't know if ADM is really all that interested except to string it along for whatever they can extract for ransom.
