Do you actually read any postings on this thread? Perhaps he's been reading this thread for a long time. That's the case now. Even the Kool-Aid drinkers are starting to see the warts. But four years ago you couldn't say on this thread that you didn't like the color of his tie without being treated as one of the loony left. You were earliest (besides me, of course <g>) to note that he was less conservative than some might like. For the thread, it was all about the elephant banner. The posted disaffection with him on this thread is quite recent.
