"THIS is our "liberal media"? If their so damn "liberal", shouldn't they LOVE Michael Moore and puff him up as much as they do themselves?"

That's the problem. The right has been whining about the liberal press for decades. If it ever was really liberal, that changed a long while ago. But, they still like to pretend that it is the case. Given that they gave up on being "reality-based" some time ago, playing pretend is second nature at this point in time...

Did you see the stuff that Shorty posted about the "lies" in "Sicko"? None of the "lies" had to do with the substance of the movie at all. But mainly focussed on what were likely continuity errors in the film, whether or not a rock that was sort of rectangular was a real rock or not and whether the email client in the screenshot was real or not...

And the one about the boy shooting baskets was really pathetic.

The press will always defend it's own.

I was amused by how Blitzer defended Gupta and himself, lending themselves WAY more dignity and honor than they've earned. In their way, they're as deluded as the WH. THIS is our "liberal media"? If their so damn "liberal", shouldn't they LOVE Michael Moore and puff him up as much as they do themselves?

Esp. Blitzer......he's the joe lieberman of journalism......as bland as they come.
