To stay on Foreign Affairs topic, michael::: IMO, Carter was the WORST President of all time, certainly mine, and I'm probably older than you. Just to cap it off was the kidnapping of the US Iranian Embassy personnel for well over a year and a half. Gas lines blocks long at any time after the oil embargo. Makes GWB look like the best POTUS, in MANY ways!

While I am mostly Republican, I don't have a set rule as to that. I am on the side of America, if that's what you mean. I don't like Buchanan, not nuts about Novak (but he's not in office, as you know,) don't like Ron Paul....DON't like Gonzales (don't think he's done anything wrong, but just incompetent....) I would have let Tenet go way before he left. Don't have any respect AT ALL for Pelosi, Gore, Dean, Clintonx2, Kerry, Reid, etc etc etc etc.

Why? Because if we don't get it right in Foreign Affairs, and specifically as it relates to dealing with terrorists who have no country, no uniform and no allegiance to anyone but whoever they think is pulling the strings....then any thing else simply doesn't matter. We will simply be taking orders from others. You may think that can't happen, but then again, none of us thought we'd be hit on 9-11 either....

9-11 was BAD. How do you think it would be if all the tunnels, trains and subways were car bombed at the same time, and the terrorists had mobile missile launchers to shut off airplanes and/or help from anyplace....pick a city or two or three...or more. All at the same time.

If you lived, who would you blame then?

What does the anti-war party bring to the table as far as solving any of the foreign policy issues of the day? So far, we haven't heard any concrete ideas from the Dems and Rinos.

And as far as Sheehan is concerned, she only serves to remind thinking people of what they would be dealing with if she or any of her friends, got into office.

Go ahead, elect her.
