The complete incapability to conceive of the need for an effective plan to create civil order in Iraq after the war was mindboggling -- whatever the reason for invading you choose to promote, the planning for the post invasion period was pure amateur hour -- driven by ideology at the WH rather than the experience of the pros at State.
