I think most people who get upset about the Cuba thing are simply people who are black and white thinkers (Cuba bad/America good). I don't think they necessarily have anything to do with fascism- and let's face it, we have plenty of black and white thinkers on the left as well.

However, a certain visitor to these precincts, who started this discussion, does. There are folks on SI on the right wing threads who favor a totalitarian right wing government.
