Ted, > Hmmmmm........your need for religion is your need, not mine and not the need for a lot of other people. So please stop trying to turn every value of mine into a religion. I want clean air because its easier to breathe. I want clean rivers because they can be used for swimming and fishing. I want clean lakes because I like to water ski. I don't want a hothouse of an earth because I don't like hot weather.

No one is against clean air. No one is against clean rivers and clean lakes and mild weather.

But when you say that the only way to get there is to follow your way and that of the environmentalists, you are forcing your beliefs upon others because you can't stand to hear anyone tell you that the sky isn't falling.

Dogma, stifling of debate, and smugness are all traits that you demonstrate, yet you regularly accuse the religious right of demonstrating. Your environmental beliefs themselves aren't a religion, but the way you and others preach and jam them down the throats of everyone else, you might as well call it one.
