Politically speaking, not impeaching Bush is the smartest thing Democrats can do. Let him twist in the wind of his own failure for the next year and a half. He's an albatross around all Republicans' necks.

An impeachment could only create a backlash that would help Republicans out of the hole they're in.

That's my take on the politics. What's the right thing to do is maybe more debatable. But you can't really impeach a guy for just plain sucking at being President can you?

The Republicans were wrong (and stupid) for impeaching Clinton. I don't think the Democrats should stoop to their level.

I think it was a huge betrayal to announce as soon as the democrats won control of the house and senate that impeachment was off the table.
You're going to impeach him for agreeing with Slick and his admin?
