Good analogy Elroy although it was hard to follow with all the entangled sniping.

However, your conclusions could have been more balanced.

If you gather a hundred people at random off the streets of America they would likely form a consensus that nazi racism is wrong, even if the the three percent or so bigots were among them; you could make your case that this was the extreme that we all object to. Having done that if you allowed the conversation to continue you would hear about the wrongs of entitling certain types of people to benefit in ways that the majority doesn't blah blah blah minority abuses.

If you gathered a hundred or so Muslims and ask them if terrorism is wrong they would agree that it is even though you would have a small percentage of people who resent some of the injustices committed by western powers on developing societies. Then if you allow the Muslims to continue the discussion you would hear specific types of injustices committed by super power countries in the world blah blah blah super power abuses.
