This is what GWB has tried to do. What has happened is that one large group of Saddam and his henchmen murderingterrorists are now mostly gone, and in their place, now AQ and like Terrorist groups have come into Iraq, many from Iran it appears. You said and I agree: The smartest thing we could do would be to bring the innocents into our circle by declaring the terrorists to be a common enemy. I think of the pictures of the children (and I've seen many from Baghdad, from some of the Military who have sent them to a group of us)....and also think of the adults in Iraq who were finally able to vote...men and women alike. For them to be blown up by anyone, let alone their own religious groups, or beheaded by beheading terrorists is so very sad....makes me physically ill. We in this country are so very fortunate. Too bad more don't realize it, and think about it every day.
